About WikiMES
Welcome to WikiMES — a practical space born from real manufacturing struggles, not theory.
I started this platform after years of leading MES implementation projects across factories where documentation was missing, roles were unclear, and daily operations felt more like survival than strategy. WikiMES exists to make sense of the chaos — to help project owners, digital leaders, and engineers bring clarity to the shop floor, one process at a time.
why i built this
I’ve been in your shoes — trying to build traceability with legacy systems, negotiating with vendors who overpromise, and translating business logic into workable digital flows. What I couldn’t find online was real, honest, experience-based content about MES in traditional factories. So I decided to write it myself.
This isn’t a polished showcase. It’s a working log of what I’ve done, what worked, what didn’t, and what I’ve learned along the way.
Who’s Behind WikiMES
Hi, I’m Agnes, a strategic MES practitioner and systems project manager with a focus on digital transformation in complex, often under-documented manufacturing environments. I’ve led MES projects from zero — building teams, mapping undefined processes, and navigating complex vendor relationships.
I created WikiMES not because I have all the answers, but because I know how hard it is when you’re expected to deliver results in an environment full of uncertainty. I believe in doing things with purpose. Even small wins matter — if they move the factory forward.
